This is How I do a Simple Edit after a Photo Session

There are times when I like to try new backgrounds, and they're usually chosen with dog photography in mind. Of course! I love, love, love using black backgrounds, but I always loves textures and colours that really make a dog's coat pop.

Burlap fabric is something I've been considering for almost a year now, so I took myself to Atlantic farbrics in Truro earler this month and bought myself a a few meters, While it's long enough, as you can see the width leaves a little to be desired, so some fancy patching had to be done via photo shop during the editing process to fill in the sides and stretch out the top just a bit. At least I had no tags or leads to make disappear this time. We were doing this in my inside studio, so it was all good!

I've got a few different "poses" from this session (and two funny ones from Miss Kitty who hopped up on the table to visit), so I'm thinking I might like to make a triptych (Three images that go togeher in three frames, and yes, I had to look up the correct spelling...:)

Now, this is a really warm photo and my walls tend to be cooler, so I may just convert it to black and white first, and put it in a lighter coloured frame.... or... maybe just leave it as is and put it in my warmer toned little studio. Time will tell!.
