Last week was a Triple Threat!
Ok, so I didn't sing, dance and act, but this past week had horses, photography and friends all wrapped up together! I had the chance to reconnect with an old friend ( Roz Moskovitz of Hearthstone Equestrian http://rozmoskovits.com), hang out with a horse buddy (Margaret Addison) and watch two accomplished equestrians as they rode (Lorinda Brinkhurst and Susan Sellers) at Lorinda's lovely property near Tatamagouche.
Events were set in action when Roz visited us at Creamery Brook Stables on Thursday to have a conversation with Margaret about her senior mare, Tiki.

That led to a discussion about visiting Lorinda's farm while Roz did some coaching on the weekend. So, on Sunday morning, Margaret and I headed of over Nutby to meet Lorinda and Susan who had trailered in to take a lesson that morning. (I was really hoping they wouldn't mind a near stranger coming at them with camera in hand!) Not to fear, they were both happy and willing subjects, so many photos were captured of Roz instructing and the two ladies riding.
This is Lorinda and her stunning Andalusian.

The girls look happy and the mare relaxed. What a great way to start a lesson!
The photos don't do the property justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. If I was a horse, I would want to call it home!
Thank you, Lorinda, for sharing your morning and home with us!
